"GTS commits to operate the facility in full compliance with all requirements while striving to continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management system and provide the highest quality products and services for total customer satisfaction."

On October 26, 2009, Bureau Veritas certified GTS Headquarters' Quality Management System (QMS) as compliant in meeting all the requirements of the ISO Q9001:2008 standard. The GTS QMS was originally certified to the ISO 9001:2000 standard on May 14, 2004 and was recertified as compliant on May 23, 2010.

There are many benefits to installing and maintaining a Quality System that conforms to the ISO 9001:2008 standard including:

  • Greater customer satisfaction.
ISO Standards are designed specifically with the customer in mind. It requires GTS to understand our customer's requirements before accepting orders. Customer satisfaction grows as expectations and requirements are met with more consistency.
  • Adherence to statutory and regulatory, and customer requirements
GTS consistently provides products that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements as well as GTS’ own requirements.
  • Confidence in GTS as a supplier.
Certification to ISO 9001:2008 assures customers that GTS has a Quality Management System in place with proper controls to ensure a quality product.
  • Improved product quality.
Products (and services) that are designed, built, and tested based on established controlled procedures have higher quality and consistency.
  • Reduced costs.
GTS’ Quality System requires processes to be continuously evaluated for potential improvements. Improvements in efficiency and productivity translate to lower costs for the customer.

GTS’ Quality Management System is based on the ISO 9001:2008 Standard. ISO 9001:2008 is an International Standard used to develop and measure Quality Management Systems. It is only one of many standards published by an internationally recognized group called the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO 9001:2008 defines Quality Management Systems for companies engaged in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Servicing activities.
