FUSIONCOMMAND OPEVAL IN DOUGLAS, ARIZONA
December 11, 2006 — GTS FusionCommand™ to begin OPEVAL in Douglas, AZ: Commencing January 7, 2007, the GTS FusionCommand Command and Control (C2) system deployed in Douglas, AZ shall begin its Operational Evaluation (OPEVAL). The system, which integrates Command and Control (C2) with Situational Awareness, a Common Operational Picture (COP) and Blue Force Tracking, shall undergo a 90-day OPEVAL with a complete Border Patrol Unit. The system fuses data from sensors such as perimeter detection radar and existing legacy Unattended Ground Sensors (UGS). Computer controlled camera systems are utilized for automated target tracking. GTS has integrated FusionCommand with, and provides fused track data to, BorderNet, another DHS S&T initiative currently deployed in Douglas, AZ. Click here for more information on FusionCommand.
