Contract Number N68936-04-D-0002 (NAVAIR), Contractor Field Services (CFS)

GTS currently provides CFS, in order to elevate the technical skills and abilities of military and civilian personnel responsible for the operation and maintenance of the AN/USM-484 HTS and the AN/USM-470(V)2 TVM, including bench hardware and software, associated Test Program Sets (TPS’s), ancillary equipment, Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRA’s), and Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRA’s). The objective of the CFS is to provide on-site proficiency training, technical guidance, and information in the evaluation of unusual field problems and render technical guidance relating specifically to the aforementioned SE and associated equipment/components. Specific tasks associated with the CFS being provided include:

• Provide on-site classroom and on-the-job training on maintenance and operation techniques pertaining to adjustment, calibration, troubleshooting, bench check, routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of the related SE, including related control equipment.
• Provide guidance and instruction on the use of associated special tools and test equipment.
• Develop training course outlines, lesson plans, and written examinations, including guidance to military and civilian personnel of the DoD in identifying needed training programs.
• In all training provided, emphasize safety precautions to be taken.
• Demonstrate best method practices for installing field changes, upgrades, modifications, and retro-fit kits.
