Global Technical Systems (GTS) has been recognized by Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) as an outstanding small business provider for its support of the Simulation, Training & Support (STS) unit in Orlando, FL.
GTS is being recognized for its outstanding support of Lockheed’s Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract for the U.S. Navy, providing repair and engineering services for Xantrex/CASS Power Supplies.
Each year, Lockheed Martin business units in Orlando, FL and Dallas, TX, nominate and select small businesses that have consistently provided outstanding support and products during the past year. Though the Corporation has thousands of suppliers, only a few of the small businesses are recognized for their outstanding quality in goods and service.
At an awards banquet in Orlando, executives from the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control and Simulation, Training & Support business units presented awards to 12 companies.

Bennett, president of Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training & Support. “We have developed a long and valuable relationship with them and are happy to recognize the significant role they play in the success of our corporation.”

Berry, president of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. “Lockheed Martin relies heavily on materials, services, solutions, resources and components through our small businesses to provide our customers with world-class products.” GTS is a Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a), Minority Woman-Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business with an exceptional record of providing advanced engineering solutions and technical support services, including: design, development, and integration of airborne radar and sensor systems; development and implementation of C2 and border security systems including integration of remote video surveillance, perimeter defense radars, unmanned ground sensors, and communications technologies; Information Technology (IT) support services; software development; advanced and virtual storage solutions; depot repair; and fleet support for radar and display/distribution systems.
