GTS has been tasked by DHS S&T Border and Transportation Security Directorate to demonstrate a proof of concept of a Common Operational Picture of fused sensor track data, Blue Force Tracking and Automated Camera-on-Target Tracking in a Graphical Display Environment.

GTS participated in the Arizona Border Control Initiative contracted by DHS S&T Border and Transportation Security Directorate. The requirements were to integrate GTS’ Command and Control and Sensor Fusion capabilities with COTS anti-personnel detection radars and ground sensors. The efforts included delivery of a Proof of Concept capability which was demonstrated in a simulated operational environment similar to the Southern Border that CBP faces on a daily basis. The Proof of concept fused target and track data from multiple sensors and Blue Force vehicles, provides track data in a GIS common frame of reference for Situational Awareness, and pushes Situational Awareness over a wireless network to users in the field. This is the framework for a Common Operational Picture, integrating the sensor track data, situational awareness, camera imagery, and ancillary data feeds from multiple sources.
