GTS is being awarded a $2.9M cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract to provide engineering and technical support necessary to perform engineering analyses; provide engineering design/development support; perform integration, testing and evaluation of engineered solutions and assist in demonstrating the functionality and operability of Aegis Weapon System (AWS) peripherals, components and associated equipment, as required by each task order. GTS shall provide technical expertise required to improve the supportability of systems and equipment, reduce obsolescence issues within systems, equipment and components, and recommend alternatives to the continued diminishing manufacturing resources to improve maintainability and availability of present and future AWS peripherals, components and associated equipment. In addition, GTS shall validate any documentation, software, or associated instructions. Required support shall be provided in accordance with individual written delivery orders (DOs), issued by Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (IHD/NSWC) within the scope of the Statement of Work (SOW) of this contract. |
